MEDUSA, CERBERUS AND.......and finally here they were ! It has been quite a long gestation, but it was really worth it. Here displayed are M° Navea Vera's three latest creations.
Violin bow in ebony, silver and tortoise by D.T. Navea Vera Medusa With her beauty she seduced Poseidon and as punishment Athena changed her in the most terrible of the Gorgon whose gaze alone turned men to stone. The same effect that one of the three latest output by M° Navea Vera had on the lucky purchaser: Medusa, exactly.

Cerberus Very different from the previous one but not less charming, Cerberus has been built with a stick in dense wood, think, dark brown colored. The seriousness sensation is felt just by staring at it. The streaking of mineral salts displayed on the head make you perceive the forceful character of this wood. When you put it on the string, it confirms and strengthen the visual idea.

A small, very small tribute to Winehouse. Two are the reasons who induced me to devote her this bow. I was inspired firstly by the structure of this wood. It is very dense and has a light brown color, same as her, it is not what it seems. It is the first time in my career that I handle such a particular marbling. Usually it is very fine and tight n a pernambuco wood, this stick seems to be made of maple judging from its width. A little bit like Amy, white skin and black soul. The second reason is the disgust I felt about this story. Star system is not to blame if an artist drink or if they are addict in any way., their life belong to them only. Nevertheless I find it inhuman to throw on the stage an unsteady human being completely lost stuttering sentences in a disconnected way and who, scared and lost, embraces herself, let her alone even by the components of her own band who, instead of accompanying her away went on playing as if nothing strange was happening, while the audience insulted her. That's disgusting !
